A Young Male Gets A "Driving Under The Influence" Arrest And Finally Decides To Hire A "Driving Under The Influence" Lawyer

Even though Franklin wasn't an attorney, he told his son that he learned the hard way when as a young man he received a "drunk driving" arrest, represented himself in court, paid two thousand dollars in penalties and fines, and served two month in the local jail. As he told his son, after he got released from jail, he found out from a lawyer friend that if he would have hired a DUI attorney in the first place, he probably would have had his fines and penalties considerably reduced and he might have never served any time in jail.

When Lawrence heard this he knew he needed more DUI facts and so he asked his father for additional information about what a "driving under the influence" attorney can do in a "drunk driving" arrest. His dad then stated the following: "If you have been charged with DUI you need a lawyer who will aggressively represent your legal rights through the complexities involved in a DUI case. DUI attorneys will be able to assist you every step of the way through the criminal process and help you find the answers you need."

When Lawrence heard his father explain this, it was as if his eyes were opened for the first time about the importance of hiring a DUI attorney. Near the end of their discussion, Lawrence mentioned that he was starting to comprehend more about DUI laws and what "drunk driving" lawyers can do for a person who has received a "drunk driving" arrest.

After getting "educated" about DUI arrests, the role of "drunk driving" attorneys, and the fact that he didn't have to agree to take any field sobriety tests at the time of his arrest, Lawrence made up his mind that he would without a doubt hire a "drunk driving" attorney to represent him in court. Something else, however, took place after he had talked to his dad. Lawrence finally started to understand the critical nature of DWI arrests and, as a consequence, he arrived at a decision that from this point forward, he would always drink responsibly so that he would never again have to experience another "drunk driving" arrest.

His dad smiled at Lawrence and mentioned the following: "Lawrence,it took me until I was fifty years old to realize what you just told me. I am very proud of you." This did wonders for his self worth and so Lawrence thanked his father and then said, "if I can always drink in moderation, I will never need to hire a DUI lawyer again!"

There was, however, one thing that neither Lawrence nor his dad thought about, namely, if Lawrence is exhibiting any alcohol abuse signs or perhaps if he is manifesting any of the routine signs of alcoholism. Indeed, if Lawrence is displaying any alcohol signs that point to alcohol addiction or alcohol abuse, more likely than not he will need alcohol rehabilitation.

If truth be told, Lawrence may be mandated by the court to get treatment for his careless and excessive drinking. The good news, however, is that whatever it takes to deal with his careless and hazardous drinking, it seems that Lawrence will be highly motivated to do the "right" thing.
