A Young Female Gets Arrested For "Drunk Driving," Talks To The Human Resources Manager, And Gets Inspired To Turn Her Life Around And Regain Her Self Worth


Jacquie was recognized at the office as really conservative human being who had an exceptional work record. She never went to any of the happy hours right after work and it was recognized through the department that she was an extremely spiritual individual who often spoke about the risks regarding alcohol abuse and dependency on alcohol in our United States.

Try to think of the shock within the company when one Monday AM Jacquie did not show up for work and nobody had heard from her. The truth is, it wasn't until around 10:45 in the morning that the human resources department received a phone call about Jacquie from the downtown jail.

Seemingly, Jacquie went out drinking along with a number of her college house mates late Saturday night and sometime close to 5:30 Sunday morning, Jacquie was arrested for "driving while intoxicated." The Human Resources manager explained to Jacquie that she should make an appointment with someone in the company employee's assistance program to discuss any probable drinking issue that she might have. The Human Resources director also mentioned that she really needs to explain her wish to hire a DUI lawyer to represent her with respect to her DWI case.

Furthermore, the Human Resources director explained to Jacquie that it was constructive that she hoped to employ a "driving while intoxicated" lawyer because of the complexities and difficult issues that are linked to a "driving while intoxicated" conviction. Just before finishing their conversation, the Human Resources manager told Jacquie that it was very heartening that she doesn't seem to have any long term alcohol effects. The Human Resources director emphasized that this is relevant because according to alcoholism statistics and facts, the long term effects of alcohol not only devastate a person's health, but that they can also impair most, if not all treasured relationships the alcoholic may have.

Jacquie thanked the Human Resources manager for his practical and encouraging words and then walked over to the company employee's assistance program go over her "drunk driving" arrest, her participation in abusive and irresponsible drinking over the past weekend, and her interest to hire a DWI attorney to represent her "driving under the influence" case. After reflecting on Jacquie's narration, the therapist from the company employee's assistance program went over Jacquie's immediate "action plan" that she needed to understand and follow.

First, she would have to take a DUI class to learn more facts and information about "driving under the influence". Second, she would also have to attend and alcohol abuse class to address her probable problem drinking. And lastly, it would be a particularly sensible thing to do if she were to talk to a DUI Attorney about her "driving while intoxicated" arrest.
