Join a Writers'
Group
One way to get
started making money by writing for the
Internet is to join a Writers
Group. You sign up with an
organization that has already negotiated open
contracts and has work waiting to be
done.
That way you
avoid having to find work and sell yourself.
You just jump right in and start working on an
already established contract for
pay!
As a member of
a writers group you first join-up and then
choose amongst the standing projects they will
have already negotiated. You pick and
choose which parts you want to
participate in. That way you let someone
else do the negotiating
and just concentrate on the
'writing to get paid online' part.
Clients you
may be writing for include many people with
large numbers of specialty content websites.
They get revenue from Adsense advertisements
and need a constant stream of new articles to
attract website visitors and keep them coming
back. So they negotiate a deal, then post a
list of subjects and requirements with a
writers group.
As a member of
the Group you look at the lists, look at the
terms and payment offered, pick your subjects
and start writing. The writers group collects
for the materials written, then writes you a
check for the articles you have written.
Payment for writing work done is usually made
on a regular monthly basis.
Sometimes the
payment comes directly from the client to you,
it just depends on the arrangements made
beforehand.
